A FLOOD ALERT REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE LOW LYING AREAS, SMALL STREAMS FOR VANUA LEVU, NORTHERN AND WESTERN PARTS OF VITI LEVU.

SITUATION:
A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE LIES SLOW MOVING OVER FIJI. MEANWHILE, TROPICAL DEPRESSION 08F LIES SLOW MOVING JUST TO THE SOUTH OF FIJI AND IS SLOWLY MOVING SOUTH.
ANOTHER SIGNIFICANT TROPICAL DISTURBANCE, TD07F, CURRENTLY TO THE FAR WEST-NORTHWEST OF FIJI NEAR VANUATU IS EXPECTED TO MOVE TOWARDS FIJI AND MAY GRADUALLY INTENSIFY INTO A DEPRESSION AND POSSIBLY AFFECT THE GROUP FROM TONIGHT.
