Chief Executive Officer
Fantasha Lockington joined FHTA as Chief Executive Officer in Jan 2017.
Until her arrival at FHTA she was the General Manager Customer Relations at the Housing Authority of Fiji for over 6 years responsible for loans, sales, products & service.
She had previously worked with Air Pacific (now Fiji Airways) for over 20 years where she was the Manager Product Development and Marketing Services before moving to Blue Lagoon Cruises a subsidiary of Fijian Holdings Ltd as the Director Global Marketing. She brings over 30 years of tourism & service experience to her new position along with key insight of public sector and stakeholder relationships.
She holds an MBA from the University of the South Pacific with Management & Marketing qualifications specific to the service and airline industry.

Emele Morgan began her role with the Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association (FHTA) as the Executive Officer on January 2nd, 2018.
Emele has a policy research background and says: ‘I have learnt to value that the over-riding principle of sustainable development is to find creative solutions to exist in harmony, and am happiest being a support person to the Team Leader’. Emele has worked on different development projects in Fiji and in the region, and also enjoys creative writing, laughing and being with happy people. When she’s not resting, she makes sure her time is of benefit to others. She studied at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, later moving her units to the University of the South Pacific to graduate with a Diploma in Management (2005) and a Bachelor of Arts at USP (2008), with a Sociology major.

Administration and Events Officer
Ms Chow joined the FHTA Team in 2009 as an intern after graduating from the University of the South Pacific with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Tourism Studies and Management & Public Administration.
As FHTA’s Administrator, Ms Chow provides admin support to managers and staff through a variety of organisational and communications-related tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the office. She is also the person for members to get in touch with about changes to contact details, help with login updates to member listings on the FHTA website and requests to be included in FHTA email distribution lists.
Ms Chow is also the Events Coordinator, ensuring the successful delivery of FHTA’s events portfolio, including the annual Dive Fiji EXPO, Annual General Meeting and HOTEC tradeshow.

Ms Narayan joined the FHTA Team in 2012 as Finance Officer. Her goal is to ensure that the FHTA Accounting and ICT systems enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization through accurate and timely records and reports.
Ms Narayan is responsible for establishing and maintaining financial management systems and procedures for the effective planning and implementation of FHTA activities, including program budgets and disbursement of activity funds. She oversee all areas of finance including: Payroll, Accounts payable and receivables, Cash Management, General Ledger, FAR, Banking and Reconciliations, Yearly Budget, Monthly Board Financials, Taxation.
Ms Narayan brings more than 10 years in financial business experience to her role, and is currently pursuing Degree in Bachelor of Arts and Fiji Institute of Accountant Course.
