SPECIAL WEATHER BULLETIN NUMBER FIFTY THREE FOR FLOOD ISSUED FROM RSMC NADI AT 06.30AM ON SATURDAY THE 11TH OF FEBRUARY 2017

FLOOD WARNING
A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS  IN FORCE FOR  LOW LYING AREAS AND AREAS ADJACENT TO RAKIRAKI TOWN AND DOWNSTREAM OF RAKIRAKI STATION.

FLOOD ALERT
A FLOOD ALERT REMAINS INFORCE FOR THE THE LOW LYING AREAS AND SMALL STREAM ADJACENT TO EMURI STATION AND DOWNSTREAM OF SEMO RIVER.
A FLOOD ALERT REMAINS INFORCE FOR LOW LYING AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS ADJACENT TO MAJOR RIVERS FOR THE WHOLE OF FIJI. 

SITUATION
TROPICAL DEPRESSION TD10F LIES TO THE FAR SOUTHWEST OF FIJI AND IS MOVING EAST-SOUTHEAST. AN ACTIVE TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE ASSSOCIATED WITH TD10F AFFECTS THE GROUP.
TD10F IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE MOVING EAST-SOUTHEAST AND PASS TO THE FAR SOUTH OF FIJI. IT IS NOT EXPECTED TO DEVELOP INTO A TROPICAL CYCLONE. 

A HEAVY RAIN WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE WHOLE OF FIJI.

LEVEL AT RAKIRAKI STATION WAS 3.0M AT 6.00AM WHICH IS 1.0M ABOVE WARNING LEVEL AND INCREASING.
LEVEL AT EMURI STATION WAS 2.5M AT 6.00AM WHICH IS 1.0M BELOW ALERT LEVEL AND DECREASING.
