FNPF-owned IHG Fiji Hotels Say “Thank You” To Partners

12th December 2023 (Natadola, Fiji): FNPF-owned IHG Fiji Hotels, including the flagship InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & SpaGrand Pacific Hotel, and Holiday Inn Suva, recently hosted two Customer Appreciation Events to express gratitude to their partners, owners, suppliers, colleagues and tourism stakeholders.

The first event took place on Friday 1st December 2023 at the iconic Grand Pacific Hotel, catering to the Suva-based partners. The second event was held on Friday 8th December 2023 at InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa and was dedicated to the West-based partners.

The Customer Appreciation Events served as a celebration of partnership, acknowledging the trust placed in doing business with IHG. The collaboration has been the cornerstone of the group’s success, and heartfelt thanks were extended for the continued support.

Bringing together approximately 300 partners, customers, and industry leaders, the events were not only a celebration of a successful year but also provided a platform for strategic discussions and opportunities for commercial growth.

The Grand Pacific Hotel, hosting the Suva-based partners, witnessed a captivating live painting showcase led by Suva-based artist Faith Watling. Attendees were invited to engage in a unique sensory experience, contributing to a collective artwork. Each participant was given pieces of paper to paint anything that inspired them. Faith skillfully collated these diverse expressions into a stunning piece of art that now graces the Grand Pacific Hotel for all guests to admire.

InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa transformed its renowned glass Wedding Pavilion into a pop-up spa that was hosted by Spa InterContinental and Pure Fiji. This innovative setting allowed guests of the Natadola event to experience express treatments while gaining a glimpse into what makes Spa InterContinental an award-winning destination. The Pavilion, usually reserved for weddings, became a symbol of the Resort’s commitment to offering unique and unforgettable experiences for its valued guests.

Complementing these experiences, the FNPF-owned IHG Fiji Hotels & Resorts Fiji demonstrated their support and commitment for local businesses through a pop-up night market at Natadola. Featuring The Projects Collective Fiji, artisans from Lawai PotteryPawpaw Patch FijiReef Brewing Company specialising in local craft beer, The Distillery Co. Fiji, and other local touches, the night market showcased the hotel group’s dedication to promoting and celebrating Fijian creativity and craftsmanship.

The Customer Appreciation Event went beyond celebration, offering guests exciting prizes to be won. Lucky door prizes added a fun touch, allowing attendees to win memorable gifts and treated to an exclusive opportunity to experience other IHG Hotels & Resorts, including the Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley, the soon-to-open InterContinental Auckland, InterContinental Sydney and other outstanding properties across Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji.
