FIJI, 10 MAY 2023: The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation, Hon. Viliame Gavoka at Fijian Tourism Expo 2023 announced the dates for the ‘Fiji Tourism Convention’ to be held on 2 November 2023.
The Convention will be a crucial gathering of the tourism industry in Fiji, bringing together industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders to discuss and deliberate the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in the sector. The event will include representatives from tourism businesses, government agencies, and industry associations.
Honourable Gavoka shared the importance of continued dialogue, stating, “We are actually bringing the Fiji Tourism Convention back. We had in the past where we would meet as an industry as a shared commitment. It provides an excellent platform for us to collaborate and share ideas on how we can continue to develop and sustainably grow our tourism industry. And we are delighted to be hosting the Fiji Tourism Convention and look forward to stronger public-private partnerships.”
The forum will feature a range of keynote speeches, panel discussions, and workshops, covering topics such as sustainable tourism, marketing strategies, and industry trends.
The upcoming Fiji Tourism Convention is anticipated to generate productive discussions and innovative solutions for the advancement of Fiji’s tourism industry, while also highlighting the country as a leading tourist destination.
