Expo to showcase cultural diversity, tourism

The Fiji Times, 26 July 2017 – FIJI’s participation at the Expo 2017 Astana would greatly benefit Fiji because it would increase exposure and establish networks with the Central Asia market.

Permanent secretary for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Shaheen Ali, made the comment after the Fijian pavilion at Expo 2017 Astana opened early last month, showcasing the country’s cultural diversity, tourism, trade and investment opportunities to the rest of the world.

“This results in the extension of international, economic, political, cultural and scientific ties and promote and share innovative ways and technologies and creation of new impetus for regional co-operation” he said. Read more…
