Fijivillage 3 April – The Water Authority of Fiji has confirmed that most of their pipes and water pump stations was damaged due to flood waters over the weekend which has resulted in no water supply in some areas in the Western Division.
They have confirmed that there is no time frame on when water will be restored to these affected areas
A team from the Water Authority of Fiji has been deployed to assess the damage to their infrastructure.
The Authority says they are carting water to the affected areas.
The affected areas include parts of Navua, Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Tavua and Rakiraki.
