Vatukarasa, Sigatoka – 25 November 2025 Demonstrating its ongoing commitment to community wellbeing, Tambua Sands Beach Resort, part of Warwick Hotels & Resorts, has donated essential linen to the Vatukarasa Health Centre.
The donation was formally presented by Resort Manager Ms. Angela Bob, who also added a thoughtful touch by bringing a box of muffins to thank the nurses and staff for their dedication and tireless service.
The items were received by Dr. Joel, the doctor in charge of the health centre, who expressed heartfelt gratitude.
“This support means so much to us,” Dr. Joel said. “Our resources are limited, and gestures like this help us provide greater comfort and care to our patients. We are truly grateful to Tambua Sands and Warwick Hotels for thinking of our small facility.”
Ms. Bob reaffirmed the resort’s commitment to its neighbouring communities.
“Community care is at the heart of Warwick Hotels & Resorts’ values. Even small contributions can make a meaningful difference, and we are inspired to continue strengthening our relationship with the people who support us and our guests every day.”
The donated linen will enhance patient comfort and support the day-to-day operations of the health centre, which serves local families as well as resort guests and staff.
Tambua Sands Beach Resort continues to prioritise initiatives that uplift and empower local communities across Fiji as part of Warwick Hotels & Resorts’ ongoing social responsibility mission.
