Natadola, Fiji – 24 November 2025: Fiji and the Pacific were celebrated on the Australasian stage at the 2025 HM Awards in Sydney on 21 November, with IHG leaders taking top honours and InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa earning high commendation.
Lachlan Walker, Regional General Manager, Fiji and Pacific, IHG Hotels & Resorts, received the Ashley Spencer Service to the Industry Award, recognising his long-term contribution and leadership in shaping hospitality across the region. His work has elevated Fijian and Pacific hospitality, nurtured future leaders, and strengthened cultural connection and guest experiences.
Akshay Singh, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, Fiji and Pacific, IHG Hotels & Resorts, was named Sales Associate of the Year for his commercial leadership, strategic growth initiatives, and advocacy for sustainable tourism in Pacific communities.
InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa was Highly Commended in the Fijian Hotel of the Year category, reflecting its continued standing as one of the region’s premier luxury resorts.
