Coral Coast, Fiji – Tambua Sands Beach Resort is enhancing its beachfront guest experience through two new resort initiatives that combine comfort, sustainability and authentic island hospitality.
The adults-only Coral Coast resort has commenced a new poolside decking project, designed to create a more spacious, attractive and comfortable area for guests to relax around the swimming pool. The upgrade forms part of the resort’s continued investment in improving its facilities while maintaining the warm, laid-back atmosphere that Tambua Sands is known for.
Alongside the poolside enhancement, the resort has also introduced a fresh mint garden within its bar area, using biodegradable planting containers to support a more sustainable beverage experience. Fresh mint leaves can now be picked directly from the garden and used immediately in cocktails, mocktails and other refreshing drinks served to guests.
From sunset mojitos to tropical mocktails enjoyed beside the ocean, the garden-to-glass concept adds a fresh and interactive element to the resort’s food and beverage offering, while helping reduce unnecessary packaging waste.
Resort Manager Angela Bob said the two initiatives reflect Tambua Sands Beach Resort’s ongoing commitment to improving guest comfort while taking practical steps towards more environmentally conscious operations.
“We are always looking for ways to enhance the experience of our guests in a way that feels authentic to Tambua Sands,” said Ms Bob. “The new poolside decking will provide a more inviting space for guests to relax, while our mint garden brings freshness, sustainability and a little bit of theatre to the bar experience. These are simple but meaningful improvements that reflect our focus on comfort, care and the natural beauty of the Coral Coast.”
The living mint display has already become a conversation piece among guests, adding a natural and vibrant touch to the resort’s bar area. The initiative is part of Tambua Sands Beach Resort’s broader commitment to eco-conscious tourism and practical sustainability.
While the poolside decking works are underway, the resort is making every effort to minimise disruption and ensure guests continue to enjoy a relaxing and memorable stay.
