Fiji Sun, 31 December 2017 – It takes two to tango, as the saying goes.
Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association president Dixon Seeto said co-operation amongst all stakeholders in the tourism sector is important.
In this industry, if a hotelier chooses to work on its own then it will not survive, and it has been proven through previous experiences, Mr Seeto said.
“Last year after Tropical Cyclone Winston, we all had to work together.
“We forged ties and now we are strongly working together to overcome adversary.
“It has been a blueprint we used in matters relating to tourism,” he said.
There were a lot of challenges faced when trying to grow the industry, but the challenges has not surpassed the industry’s achievements over the years. Read more…
