Fiji Sun, 17 February – The Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade has set a $2.2 billion roadmap to take the tourism industry to a higher standard by the end of 2021.
This was highlighted by the permanent secretary for the ministry, Shaheen Ali, during the first consultation of the Fijian Tourism Development Plan in Suva yesterday.
Minister for Tourism Faiyaz Koya said despite the setback caused by Tropical Cyclone Winston, the tourism industry was on track to achieve the $2.2 billion by 2021. Read more…
