Hilton Fiji Celebrates International Housekeeping Week

Nadi, Fiji – 23rd September 2025 – Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & Spa proudly joined Hilton hotels worldwide in celebrating International Housekeeping Week, held from 15–19 September 2025, to honor the dedicated team members who form the heart of hospitality.

This year’s Hilton motto, “Beautiful stay starts with fresh and comfortable spaces. Our Housekeeping Team makes it possible,” reflected the spirit of appreciation and recognition that guided the week’s celebrations.

Throughout the week, Hilton Fiji’s Housekeeping team enjoyed a program of activities designed to highlight their vital contributions while fostering camaraderie and fun. Highlights included:

Department-led breakfasts and dinners hosted by senior leaders, showing appreciation for the team’s hard work.

Friendly competitions such as the Best Trolley Setup, Maid Station Decoration, Tekiteki Challenge, and the Mini Housekeeping Triathlon, showcasing creativity and teamwork.

Wellness and connection activities like beach walks, movie nights, and mixed volleyball and netball tournaments, encouraging team bonding.

Cross-department “buddy” experiences, where Housekeeping partnered with Front Office, Reservations, Business Development, Engineering, and F&B, strengthening understanding and collaboration across the resort.

A lively Housekeeping Market Day and Recognition Day, giving the team well-deserved moments of celebration.

These celebrations also come at a time when Hilton’s commitment to purpose-driven leadership and a strong people-first culture has once again been recognised, with Hilton Fiji Beach Resort & spa certified as a Great Place to Work in Fiji.
