Tourism Research Australia: Youth visitors account for 45% of visitor spend
Tourism Research Australia released (09-Apr-2019) its 2017/18 state of the industry youth visitation statistics. Key highlights include:
- Youth markets aged 15 to 29 accounted for 45% of international spend;
- 19% of youths travelled on a low cost carrier, compared to an 11% average of other age groups;
