Marriott Momi Bay Named ‘Top 20’ Resort in Australasia

NADI, Fiji – 8th October 2026 – Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay has been named the No. 17 resort in Australia and the South Pacific in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. Voted directly by the magazine’s North American readers, the result places Momi Bay among the region’s Top 20 resorts and puts it firmly on the radar of one of Fiji’s key long-haul markets.

Now in their 39th year, the Readers’ Choice Awards are the travel industry’s longest-running accolades. Rankings are decided by travelers rating the hotels and resorts they have experienced firsthand. That makes the result a recommendation from guests to guests – a reader-backed endorsement that gives American travelers added confidence when choosing where to stay in the South Pacific.

“This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the experiences of our guests and the dedication of our associates,” said Silvano Dressino, General Manager of Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay. “We are grateful to everyone who voted and proud to share the warmth of Fijian hospitality with travelers from around the world.”

Proudly Fijian-owned and internationally branded, Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay pairs premium amenities with a genuine Fijian welcome on the shores of Momi Bay, south of Nadi. Accommodations range from lagoon bures to overwater bures, including two Royal Overwater Bures. Dining runs from Goji Kitchen & Bar to Fish Bar, where sunset rituals unfold from the resort’s highest vantage point.

Quan Spa anchors the wellness offering, while Fijian Warrior bonfire storytelling brings local culture to life after dark. Families have their own pool and swim-up bar, and the adults-only Sunset Infinity pool offers a quieter retreat.
The resort is also the host property and partner of the World Surf League’s Fiji Surf Pro, with Cloudbreak just 15 minutes away, making Momi Bay the closest mainland base for one of surfing’s most famous breaks.

The recognition reinforces Momi Bay’s standing as a premier property within Marriott International’s global portfolio and reflects how strongly readers connect with the Fiji experience it offers. It also comes as the resort approaches its 10th anniversary in 2027.
