Fiji Sun Thursday 09 March 2017 About 50 people from various organisations in Suva were part of the Destination Marketing Consultation at the Grand Pacific Hotel last night.
The consultation, spearheaded by the GPH general manager, Peter Gee, and the Market Development Facility, aims to bring together key stakeholders in a bid to develop new and existing products that Suva offers.
Consultation facilitator, Albert Stafford of the Stafford Group in Australia, said: “I think Fiji has got some wonderful areas that have been developed for a number of years with some very established products.
“I think there are a lot of areas where you could develop tourism, like Suva, but it’s not on the radar yet.” Read more...
