Fiji And India Sign Air Services Agreement

The Attorney-General and Minister for Civil Aviation, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, last night in New Delhi, signed a new Air Services Agreement (ASA) with the Indian Government.

This new ASA will replace the previous ASA, which was signed between the two Governments more than 40 years ago, in 1974.

In a statement last night, Mr Sayed-Khaiyum thanked India’s Minister for Civil Aviation, Shri Ashok Gajapathi Raju, and the Indian Government for their good faith, goodwill and respectful posture throughout the negotiations.
