A FLOOD ALERT REMAINS INFORCE FOR LOW LYING AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS ADJACENT TO MAJOR RIVERS FOR THE WHOLE OF FIJI.
SITUATION
TROPICAL DEPRESSION TD10F LIES TO THE FAR SOUTHWEST OF FIJI AND IS MOVING EAST-SOUTHEAST. TD10F IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE MOVING EAST-SOUTHEAST AND PASS TO THE FAR SOUTH OF FIJI.
IT IS NOT EXPECTED TO DEVELOP INTO A TROPICAL CYCLONE. MEANWHILE, A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WITH ASSOCIATED CLOUD AND RAIN AFFECTS THE GROUP.
A HEAVY RAIN WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE WHOLE OF FIJI.
LEVEL AT RAKIRAKI STATION WAS 2.56M AT 11.00AM WHICH IS 0.56M ABOVE WARNING LEVEL AND DECREASING.
