Fiji Times, 23 March – SMALL local fruit and vegetable supply companies have benefited from the Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort and Spa food demand and supply chain, with the resort buying almost 75 per cent produce from local operators.
This was highlighted during a suppliers meeting at the resort in Sigatoka yesterday.
Resort purchasing manager Nitesh Kumar said only 25 per cent of food items used by the resort were imported. Read more…
