SeaFiji Strengthens Leadership Team with Two Key Appointments

SeaFiji, Fiji’s trusted name in marine transfers and charter services, is proud to announce two key leadership appointments that reflect its deep commitment to internal talent development and operational excellence.

Salesi Finau has been appointed as General Manager, effective immediately. His promotion marks a significant milestone for the company, which continues to prioritise leadership that understands its culture, vision, and people from the inside out. Salesi has served SeaFiji with distinction for 12 years, most recently as Operations Manager. He brings a wealth of hands-on leadership experience, deep operational knowledge, and a firm grasp of SeaFiji’s values and long-term goals.

“We are thrilled to see Salesi step into the role of General Manager,” said Truman Bradley, CEO of SeaFiji. “His dedication over the past 12 years has helped shape SeaFiji into the trusted brand it is today. His proven track record and familiarity with every aspect of our operations make him the perfect leader to guide our next phase of growth.”

In his new role, Salesi will oversee all aspects of SeaFiji’s strategic direction, customer service, and marine operations. His leadership is expected to play a pivotal role as the company continues to grow its footprint and invest in sustainable marine transport solutions.

“I am truly honored to take on this role,” said Salesi Finau. “SeaFiji has been my professional home for 12 years, and I’m excited to now lead the team in delivering exceptional service to our customers, while continuing to support the development of our staff and the communities we serve.”

Following Salesi’s transition to General Manager, Kolinio Batikara has been promoted to the position of Operations Manager, also effective immediately. Kolinio has been a valued member of the SeaFiji team for nearly a decade, serving most recently as Senior Captain. His promotion is a testament to his outstanding leadership on the water and the depth of operational knowledge he brings to his new role.

“We are incredibly proud to see Kolinio step into this new position,” said Truman Bradley. “His extensive experience at sea, intimate knowledge of our operations, and unwavering work ethic make him the ideal person to lead and strengthen our frontline execution.”

As Operations Manager, Kolinio will be responsible for overseeing the daily coordination of SeaFiji’s marine fleet, crew performance, safety protocols, and service quality across all destinations. His appointment comes at a time when SeaFiji is expanding services to meet growing tourism demand and reaffirming its operational excellence.

“I’m honored to take on this new role with SeaFiji,” said Kolinio Batikara. “After nearly 10 years on the water with this team, I’m excited to bring my experience to shore and support the next generation of crew and captains as we continue delivering safe, reliable, and exceptional service.”

These appointments reinforce SeaFiji’s ongoing commitment to recognising and elevating talent from within—building a leadership team that reflects loyalty, passion, and a shared vision for the future of marine transport in Fiji.
