The staff and guests of Radisson Blu Resort Fiji jointly celebrated International Women’s Day and commemorated the achievements of its team.
The Resort always recognizes International Women’s Day as a significant occasion to raise awareness and to recognize the accomplishments of its team members, according to General Manager, Mr Charles Homsy.
In delivering her address, chief guest Vani Catanasiga, Executive Director Fiji Council of Social Services said this year’s theme, “Innovation and Technology for gender equality” was important as it served as a reminder to honor women who have utilized creativity in innovative ways to produce amazing results.
“For the Radisson Blu Resort Fiji family, everything we do is all about working together and empowering one another. Today marks a great day in celebrating our women’s achievements, at work, at home, and in their participation in the success and growth of their own communities,” said Mr. Homsy
Radisson Blu Resort Fiji strives to continuously spread the message and empower women in our workplace. The celebrations included a dance competition between the various departments, entertainment, food, and drinks, and lots of cake.
Guests at the Resort also participated in the celebrations.
