PM and Rabuka on good terms

Fiji Sun, Sunday 28 Jan -Fiji Sun captured the photograph of PM Bainimarama and Rabuka shaking hands and greeting each other warmly in Drekeniwai, Cakaudrove, to the delight of journalists and public media readership.

Mr Rabuka was present in his village to welcome Mr Bainimarama in a full traditional welcome ceremony. The PM was in Drekeniwai to commission a solar project for the local school. Sitiveni Rabuka presented a whalestooth (tabua) to government delegates during the iQaloqalovi ceremony in what journalists reported as being an emotional and powerful presentation.
