The Fiji Times, 02 November 2017 – THE room occupancy rate for Fiji’s licensed hotels and tourist accommodations slightly increased to 51.3 per cent in the second quarter of this year.
This is a 1 per cent increase from the 50.3 per cent room occupancy rate recorded in the same period last year.
According to the Fiji Bureau of Statistics (FBoS) provisional hotels and tourist accommodation statistics for the second quarter of this year, the room occupancy rate for the past six years has been in the range of 45.5 per cent and 56.4 per cent. Read more…
