GPH Celebrates 18 Years of Fashion with 2025 Partnership

Tuesday, 22nd April 2025 (Suva, Fiji): In a renewed celebration of fashion, creativity and culture, Suva’s only 5-star luxury hotel, Grand Pacific Hotel continues its proud partnership with Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week as the Official Accommodation Partner for 2025.

The collaboration marks 18 years of Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week and reflects a shared vision to elevate Pacific talent while curating inspired experiences for both locals and visitors.

As part of this partnership, Grand Pacific Hotel will host a series of official events throughout the season — including the International Women’s Day Breakfast, Fashion Industry Seminars, and the stylish Melbourne Cup Luncheon — bringing together leaders in fashion, media, and design within the elegance of Suva’s most iconic address.

Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week 2025 also welcomes the highly anticipated return of Robert Kennedy Fiji, one of the country’s most iconic designers known for his vibrant prints and deep cultural storytelling. His new collection marks a personal and creative evolution, promising to be a standout moment of the season.

“We are proud to continue supporting Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week — a platform that nurtures the next generation of Pacific creatives while celebrating the visionaries who’ve shaped its legacy,” commented Lachlan Walker, Portfolio General Manager – IHG Hotels & Resorts, FNPF-Owned Hotels. It’s especially exciting to see designers like Robert Kennedy Fiji return with renewed energy. His work, bold and unmistakably Fijian, reflects the spirit we’re proud to champion across our hotels.”

Together, Grand Pacific Hotel and Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week continue to spotlight the intersection of heritage hospitality, contemporary design, and cultural pride.

Ellen Whippy-Knight, Managing Director of Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week, adds:

“Grand Pacific Hotel brings more than a venue — it brings heritage, heart, and hospitality. This partnership helps us create experiences that not only celebrate fashion, but also honour our identity as Pacific people.”

Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week’s main shows, including the Launch at Novotel Suva Lami Bay Events Centre (May 3), Resort Cruise and Luxe Shows, and the Student Designer Showcase, will take place at Vodafone Arena — while Grand Pacific Hotel remains the refined base for VIP guests, creatives, and media.
