Fiji Times Tuesday 05 September 2017 NOT much progress is being made globally on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal to ensure access to affordable, reliable and sustainable energy for all.
UNDP Pacific Office resilience and sustainable development team leader Kevin Petrini raised this at a workshop on sustainable finance initiatives organised by the Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF) in Suva last Friday.
“The bad news is that we are not making much progress on ensuring access to affordable, reliable and sustainable energy for all,” Mr Petrini said.
“There is a lot of work that needs to be done in this space which is where global discussions on climate change take place.” Read more…
