Fiji Times Thursday 13 April 2017  USING our massive tourism industry as ambassadors of Fijian sugar to the rest of the world will be part of the Fiji Sugar Corporation’s reshaped marketing strategy.

This, FSC chief executive officer Graham Clark said, would include a prioritised focus on the local market and its supply in Fiji.

“The reshaping of the marketing strategy will now have a prioritised focus on the local market. We need to supply sugar in Fiji first and I don’t think we have done that properly yet,” he said.

“I think the diversity in that marketing mix will bring some big benefits to Fiji going forward and we can start with our tourism industry as we’ve got ambassadors right on our doorsteps.”  Read more…
