Mana Island Resort & Spa-Fiji has proudly announced a substantial donation totalling Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) towards the Fiji Cancer Society and WOW’s Kids. This generous contribution, achieved through the collective efforts of guests, returnees, staff, and the resort’s management, aims to support children and adults battling cancer.
On March 12th, 2024, Mana Island Resort had the honour of delivering this donation to the Fiji Cancer Society and WOW’s Kids in Suva. This initiative reflects Mana Island Resort (Fiji) Pte Ltd’s commitment to its company philosophy, “[For the Next Generation],” which emphasizes support and development within the local community.
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavours, Mana Island Resort has a longstanding tradition of donating to and supporting these two organizations. Over the years, the resort has welcomed WOW’s Kids to enjoy its facilities and programs, providing them and their families with memorable experiences. Witnessing the joy on the children’s faces has been deeply rewarding for the resort’s staff and management.
In addition to hosting WOW’s Kids, Mana Island Resort collaborates with the Fiji Cancer Society to raise awareness about cancer among guests, staff, and management. The society also offers free check-ups to resort visitors, furthering its mission to combat cancer in Fiji.
