SPECIAL WEATHER BULLETIN NUMBER NINETY TWO FOR FLOOD ISSUED FROM RSMC NADI AT 1.30PM ON THURSDAY THE 16th OF FEBRUARY 2017

FLOOD WARNING: A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE LOW LYING AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS ADJACENT TO; DREKETILAILAI STATION AND DOWNSTREAM OF QAWA RIVER. RAKIRAKI TOWN AND DOWNSTREAM OF RAKIRAKI STATION.

FLOOD ALERT: A FLOOD ALERT REMAINS INFORCE FOR LOW LYING AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS ADJACENT TO OTHER MAJOR RIVERS FOR THE WHOLE OF FIJI.

SITUATION: AN ACTIVE TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WITH ASSOCIATED CLOUD AND RAIN REMAINS SLOW MOVING OVER FIJI.

A HEAVY RAIN WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE WHOLE OF FIJI.

LEVEL AT DREKETILAILAI STATION WAS 2.59M AT 1.00PM WHICH IS 0.09 ABOVE WARNING LEVEL AND DECREASING.

LEVEL AT RAKIRAKI STATION WAS 2.8M AT 12.00PM WHICH IS 0.8M ABOVE WARNING LEVEL AND DECREASING.

LEVEL AT QAWA BRIDGE STATION WAS 2.57M AT 12.00PM WHICH IS 0.57M ABOVE ALERT LEVEL AND DECREASING.

HIGH TIDE: 10.19PM (Time) 1.78M (Height)
