Resort commended
The Fiji Times, 15 January 2018 – INTERCONTINENTAL Fiji Golf Resort and Spa was commended by the Ministry of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations for their efforts in providing in-house training for graduates.
A resort representative this week revealed at a public consultation on the draft National Employment Policy in Nadi that the resort trained 20 new graduates from the National Employment Centre each year.
“For Intercontinental Fiji, we signed a memorandum of understanding with the NEC and with that agreement, we have formed an academy within the resort to train those who we bring in from the NEC,” said the resort worker. Read more…
