05 April 2022 (Natadola, Fiji): InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa and Grand Pacific Hotel, which are part of the IHG ® Hotels & Resorts South Pacific portfolio, were the only properties that travelled from Fiji at the recent Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) tradeshow. The tradeshow was held from the 21st to – the 23rd of March at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre in Melbourne, Australia.
The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) is the leading trade event for the meetings and event industry in the Asia Pacific region. AIME is where industry decision-makers connect, create, and do business. The three-day event brings together international and local buyers to access the best exhibitors from around the world.

Other than a show of support for the event, our representation is indicative of how serious we are about getting our group’s business back on track and staying at any of our IHG properties here in Fiji. We are fortunate to have captured some great leads for business in 2022 and beyond.”
As travel restrictions begin to ease and confidence in travel once again heightens, it is natural that business and leisure travel will continue to evolve into something much more and IHG Hotels & Resorts in Fiji are confident delegates are equally excited to resume offshore Meetings, Events, Conferences and Events (Event) at the three award-winning properties.
As an incentive, IHG has also introduced an incentive for event planners to win one million IHG points for any business booked by the 30th of June 2022 and executed by 31 December 2023.
