IHG Fiji Hosts Customer Appreciation Cocktail

After a successful year since the re-opening of borders, iconic InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa hosts preferred partners at Natadola Bay on behalf of IHG Fiji to thank them for their business.

06 February 2023 (Natadola, Fiji): InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa hosted an elegant cocktail celebration for its Western Fiji-based corporate clients, travel agents, and media representatives on behalf of all three IHG properties in Fiji.

This was part of IHG Hotel & Resorts Global Appreciation Week and a follow-up to a similar event that was hosted at The Grand Pacific Hotel in December last year.

The event brought together around 100 partners and industry leaders to not only celebrate a successful year but also to provide a platform for strategic discussion and opportunities for commercial growth.

“I am incredibly grateful to all our preferred industry partners, clients, and media for being with us and for their trust in our brands. Our longstanding partnerships inspire our work to make a positive impact in Fiji and ensure that travel has a beautiful future for everyone” commented Lachlan Walker, Area General – South Pacific, IHG Hotels & Resorts. “The theme for this year is Journey to Tomorrow, as we set in motion an exciting series of ambitious commitments to make a positive difference for our people, communities, and planet.”

Journey to Tomorrow is a commitment by IHG Hotels & Resorts to deliver a more sustainable hotel business for our people, communities, and planet by 2030. It involves having a positive impact on local communities, building a diverse culture, reducing energy use, cutting waste, and conserving water.

Guests of the event also received updates on the latest projects at all IHG hotels in Fiji, from accommodation to newly crafted experiences and sustainability initiatives that guests from all over the world can enjoy. They enjoyed a selection of food and hand-crafted cocktails as they mingled, relaxed, and immersed in destination Natadola.
