Reliable execution is the deciding factor when hoteliers and developers plan a Fiji fitout: long lead times, island freight, customs clearance and a climate that punishes anything not built for it. Furnz Group has just delivered proof of that capability, completing the full interior fitout of Vomo Island Resort, one of Fiji’s premier private island destinations, and is already back on site for the next five bures.
New Zealand’s leading hospitality design and procurement firm on what it takes to deliver quality into Fiji
The Vomo project covered interior design and documentation across all guest villas and public spaces, full procurement, and fitout of FF&E, finishes, joinery and food and beverage areas. Custom furniture and decorative lighting were designed in-house and manufactured through Furnz’s network of trusted suppliers.
Furnz’s Fiji portfolio includes Nanuku Resort, Laucala Island Resort, The Pearl Resort & Spa, Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort, Radisson Blu Denarau, Marriott Momi Bay and Warwick Coral Coast.
The firm’s island experience extends beyond Fiji. Last Christmas, Furnz completed the high-end Coronet Ridge development in Queenstown, another site where logistics, access and climate make delivery difficult. Its wider portfolio spans hotel and hospitality projects across New Zealand and Australia.
“We’ve been doing this in Fiji long enough that the freight, the customs process and the site realities are second nature. What we offer Fiji properties is a team that already knows how to get it done here,” said Euan Armstrong, Managing Director, Furnz Group.
Furnz Group works with hotels, resorts and developers across Fiji on refurbishments, new builds and capital projects involving furniture, interiors and procurement. Indicative budgets and high-level costings can be provided to support early-stage planning, before full documentation is in place and with no obligation.
