Forced landing in Wailoaloa Bay

The Fiji Times, 25 December 2017 – A SEAPLANE landed in Wailoaloa Bay shortly after take-off from the Newtown Boat Club base in Nadi yesterday.

According to a government statement, the Beaver seaplane registration DQTAM belongs to Nadi airline, Turtle Airways Ltd.

“The aircraft was on take-off run from Newtown boat club base and was airborne before losing altitude and subsequently force landing into Wailoaloa Bay,” the statement said. Read more…
