The Voice of the Industry
The FHTA COVID Safe Training is a face-to-face charged training that will be run over two days in partnership with Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC) and supported by International Labour Organization (ILO).
CONTENT AND DELIVERY:
DAY ONE will focus on the key checklist points from the FHTA Recommended Minimum COVID Safe Guidelines & Recommended Standards Operating Procedures (which is the basis of the Care Fiji Certification checklist) and assist Participants in reviewing or developing their COVID Safe Policies and Procedures.
The Ministry of Health & Medical Services (MoHMS) will also be present to provide the Participants with training on the correct application of a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and all participants will be certified accordingly.
Participants will be provided with the template Policy and Procedure documents as well as the training material that would allow them to replicate the Policy training for their own staff.
DAY TWO will be facilitated by APTC and will be a delivery of an APTC Microcredential course ‘COVID-Safe Work Training for Dining-in’ followed by interactive soft skill training in handling difficult customers, keeping customers happy and maintaining personal stress levels.
These will be scenario-based and focused on the application of your COVID Safe Policies, aimed at providing the participant with the confidence to implement the COVID Safe Policy in the workplace.
