Minister for Tourism Premila Kumar says that Denarau Island caters for about 60% of tourist that come to Fiji.
Kumar was responding to a written question that was tabled in parliament last month by SODELPA MP Viliame Gavoka who had asked if an assessment of the infrastructure has been carried out to ensure that it is not under strain and is coping well.
Kumar says that the Denarau Corporation Pte (Limited) has planned development on the island through proper long‑term development plans.Read more…
