A first for the Fiji market, ANZ Fiji country head Saud Minam yesterday said the long-awaited safe and secure chip card was part of their commitment in continuously improving their products and services.
“The advantage of having this card is the world-wide renowned fact that it is a much safer and secure credit card which allows you to do the transactions freely.
“This has become very common now in markets like Australia, Asia, New Zealand, Europe as well as US.
“The entire card industry is moving now into the new chip card and we are also making that quantum leap into that segment as well.”
Mr Minam said the credit card with a security chip was more secure as the security chip made it more difficult to fraudulently copy the credit card details. Read more…
