Fiji Times Friday 08 September 2017 STATISTICS show that 406 building permits for construction work valued at $75.8 million were issued in the March quarter of this year.
The Fiji Bureau of Statistics’ building statistics from the March quarter of this year showed that when compared with the December quarter of last year, the number of building permits issued dropped by 1.9 per cent while the corresponding value of work increased by 3.3 per cent respectively.
Building statistics, according to the Fiji Bureau of Statistics, shows the number and value of permits and completion certificates issued during the period.
When compared with the March quarter of last year, the number of building permits issued and the corresponding value of work increased by 7.1 per cent and 26.4 per cent respectively. Read more…
