$1.68b revenue

The Fiji Times, 16 November 2017 – MORE than 830,000 tourists will bring in $1.68 billion in revenue to the country, says acting Prime Minister Faiyaz Koya.

Speaking at Tourism Fiji’s Industry Day at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa in Natadola yesterday, he said tourism remained a vital industry for Fiji.

“Tourism earnings for the first quarter of 2017 has increased by 10.7 per cent $377.3 million, whilst visitor numbers increased by 3.3 per cent or 163,226,” he said. Read more…
