World Tourism Day 2017 – Plant A Tree

On Wednesday, 27 September 2017, the world celebrated World Tourism Day and FHTA Members were encouraged to participate in a Plant a Tree initiative by the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Tourism.

Below are a few activities that some of our Members participated in to commemorate World Tourism Day and continuous efforts towards this years theme of “Sustainable Tourism – A tool for Development”.

We would like to thank all our Members who participated in this initiative and for your continuous efforts towards our environment and sustainability.

Treasure Island Resort (Total of 9 Trees and 32 Corals were planted and 3 endangered hawksbill turtles were released/Photos: Supplied)
