Malolo Island, Fiji – 15 August 2025 – Tropica Island Resort, the award-winning adults-only escape in Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands, has announced the appointment of Luisa Ratoto as its new Head of Operations. In her role, Luisa will work closely with Chief Operating Officer Leigh Howard to enhance operational excellence across the Tropica Group, overseeing both the Namaka headquarters and the resort on Malolo Island. Her portfolio includes championing compliance, strengthening IT infrastructure, and guiding crisis management, all while driving innovation and efficiency.
Luisa joins Tropica with a wealth of experience gained as Operations Manager at Go Dirty Tours, a multi-award-winning Fijian tour operator. There, she refined her expertise in process optimisation, team leadership, and delivering consistently exceptional guest experiences. Based at the Namaka HQ in Nadi and making regular visits to the island, she will collaborate closely with the General Manager and the wider Senior Management Team to lead process improvements, digital transformation projects, and support future growth, including the upcoming Fantasy HQ office.
