Transport company expands business

Tuesday 28 February A NADI company which began as a taxi service at the start of the new millennium has developed its business and ventured into the tourism sector.

Last Saturday, Industry, Trade, Tourism, Land and Mineral Resources Minister Faiyaz Koya officially opened AAAK and Go Local Fiji Tours $1 million mechanical workshop in Namaka Park, Nadi.

AAAK began as Taxi 2000 under the stewardship of businessman Aslam Khan with 30 cabs 16 years ago.

In 2015, his son Aleem Khan took the family-owned company into the tourism sector with the establishment of Go Fiji Local Tours and Transfers.

The company invested $750,000 into the purchase of three brand new airconditioned coaches from China to boost its tourist transport services.  Read more…
