Tourists in Auckland have spent an estimated $8.4b this year

NZ Herald – Wednesday 25th July 2018.

Money spent on tourism in Auckland is on the rise, with expenditure up eight per cent compared to last year.

The latest Monthly Regional Tourism Estimates released by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) show that tourism spend for Auckland is estimated to be $8.4 billion for the year to June 2018. Read more…
