Tourism Fiji has been stepping up its international marketing campaign in Australia, the United States and Europe.
According to Tourism Fiji, a campaign targeting consumers in the west coast of California was launched last month.
Called the “Relaxer”, the campaign included programatic, social and search engine marketing (SEM) that is set to run until July, 2018.
The initiative was aimed at travellers between the ages of 25 and 55.
Another marketing tool adopted by the authority was Adelaidy Fiji — a travel TV series that aired in South Australia last month.
According to Tourism Fiji, the TV show follows hosts Hayley Pearson and Lauren DeCesare who sample local Fijian cuisine and visit some of the country’s well know travel spots.
Meanwhile in Europe, Tourism Fiji was represented in a Swiss consumer travel show in Zurich and Bern, Switzerland where the country’s tourism market was presented to more than 120 buyers.
