Tourism Fiji, 25 February 2019 – Tourism Fiji successfully hosted a MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Events) Event in Auckland, New Zealand on 13 February.
The event was organized in a bid to educate attendees on the products available in Fiji for group travel.
The event was a great success with more than 50 MICE and PCO (Professional Conference Organisers) agents from New Zealand in attendance.
The event was an excellent opportunity to update agents already with familiar with Fiji, about new and enhanced products. It also provided Tourism Fiji and the industry partners in attendance with the opportunity to establish relationships with key agents.
Tourism Fiji Chief Executive Matthew Stoeckel said, “Tourism Fiji is looking to grow the MICE market out of New Zealand, so it’s important we have strong relationships with key MICE and PCO agents from around the country. We need to ensure that these agents are kept well
informed of the new products available in Fiji and all new developments so they can effectively sell Fiji.”
The 13 Fijian operators who attended for the event and were Warwick Fiji Resort, Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort & Spa, The Pearl Resort, Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa, Pullman Nadi Bay Resort & Spa, Malamala Beach Club, Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort, Captain Cook Cruises, Pacific Destinations, Marriott International, Nanuku Auberge Resort, Rosie Holidays and InterContinental Fiji.
