SPECIAL WEATHER BULLETIN NUMBER NINETY THREE FOR FLOOD ISSUED FROM RSMC NADI AT 4.00PM ON THURSDAY THE 16th OF FEBRUARY 2017

FLOOD WARNING: A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE LOW LYING AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS ADJACENT TO RAKIRAKI TOWN AND DOWNSTREAM OF RAKIRAKI STATION.

FLOOD ALERT:  A FLOOD ALERT REMAINS IN FORCE FOR LOW LYING AREAS AND SMALL STREAM ADJACENT TO DREKETILAILAI STATION AND DOWNSTREAM OF QAWA RIVER.

A FLOOD ALERT REMAINS IN FORCE FOR LOW LYING AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS ADJACENT TO OTHER MAJOR RIVERS FOR THE WHOLE OF FIJI.

SITUATION: AN ACTIVE TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WITH ASSOCIATED CLOUD AND RAIN REMAINS SLOW MOVING OVER FIJI.

A HEAVY RAIN WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR THE WHOLE OF FIJI.

LEVEL AT DREKETILAILAI STATION WAS 2.15M AT 3.30PM WHICH IS 0.15 ABOVE ALERT LEVEL AND DECREASING.
