Simulator Acquisition For Fiji Airways

Fiji Sun, 24 June 2017 – Fijian pilots will no longer need to go overseas for their six monthly mandatory simulator training.

Fijian pilots and regional pilots will also be able to benefit from the acquisition of a CAE Boeing 737 MAX aircraft full simulator for the Fiji Aviation Academy, which has been made by Fiji Airways.

The Letter of Intent (LOI) was yesterday signed in Suva by Fiji Airways and Canadian simulator manufacturer CAE, in the presence of Fijian Attorney-General, Minister for Economy and Minister responsible for Civil Aviation, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum. Read more…
