Coral Coast, Fiji, 18 April 2018 – Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort & Spa in partnership with Tourism Fiji and Channel 7 Australia has launched a wedding competition that will run for the month of April. Launched on the Channel 7s popular breakfast show Sunrise the competition will culminate in a prize winning approx..100,000 wedding package including airfares, rooms and a wedding reception that will be broadcast live from Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort & Spa later in the year.
Making the announcement Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort & Spa’s Director of Sales, Ms Shashita Nand, said the exposure for Fiji as a destination and for the resort was significant. “We are extremely fortunate that our resort has been selected as the wedding venue and we are delighted that we will be able to showcase our beautiful island destination of Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort & Spa as a one-stop shop for bridal parties,” Ms Nand said.
“We are in a position to offer an island resort experience for our wedding parties with the convenience of being connected to the mainland and this is a huge drawcard for wedding couples who choose our resort as their wedding venue. “In the months ahead and through this partnership we will also be launching exciting wedding packages into the Australian market that will not only give us a competitive edge but it will be an opportunity to showcase on an even wider platform our beautiful destination,” Ms Nand said.
