The Fiji Times, 06 January 2018 – CONSERVATION of sea turtles will continue as their breeding population continues to drop, confirms the Fisheries Ministry.
Despite the ending of the moratorium on sea turtles this year, Fiji will continue conserving turtles under the Fiji Sea Turtles Recovery Plan 2010-2026 and the Endangered and Protected Species Act 2002.
Ministry of Fisheries permanent secretary Sanaila Naqali said Fiji would still manage and conserve the endangered species through its plan and Acts. Read more…
