THE people of Fiji need to take littering seriously or suffer the environmental issues tourists flocking to the Indonesian holiday haven, Bali, are complaining about, a hotelier says.
Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort and Spa general manager Peter Hopgood made this statement on his return from a conference in Hawaii recently.
He said tourists who normally flock to Bali are now opting for other destinations because of the increasing environmental issues at this well-known holiday destination.
