The Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association, in partnership with Fiji Coffee, McDonalds Fiji and FRANKE Coffee Systems of Switzerland, is pleased to announce the staging of the second Barista Competition, to be held during the 2019 HOTEC, November 7th & 8th.
Cash Prizes:
1st Place: $500.00
2nd Place: $300.00
3rd Place: $200.00
The Judges: TBC
The competition is open to staff employed by Full FHTA Members and to the public. All Entry Forms will be assessed based on selection criteria and 20 participants will be selected to participate in this year’s competition. The successful applicants will be advised of their selection and an Entry fee of $50 will be invoiced to that property.
Interested participants are requested to fill in the below Entry Form and view the Barista Competition Guidelines 2019
Competitors will serve one (1) beverage from all three (3) categories of drinks (espresso, milk beverage, signature beverage) to each of the 3 judges, the competitor decides which order the beverages are served.
Five competitors will move into the second round, to be held on Day 2 of HOTEC with the winners announced at the Networking Cocktail.
